2. Determination of the diameter of a thin wire using a wedge shaped film
3. Determination of wavelength of sodium light and refractive index of mica using Fresnels biprism
4. Determination of wavelength of the Na-light and Hg-green light
Determination of the difference in wavelength between two closely separated wavelengths (NA - D lines)

Determination of refractive index of transparent material (Glass) using Michelson interferometer

5. Determination of Young's modulus of glass by Cornu's method 6. Determination of the wavelength of Na-light using a single slit 7. Determination of the wavelength of Na-light using a double slit 8. Determination of the resolving power of a prism
9. Determination of the resolving power of a telescope and the diameter of lycopodium particles by the method of holes 10. Determinaiton of the wavelength of Hg-green light using diffraction grating (deviation method)
11. Determinaiton of the wavelengths of the various spectral lines in the hydrogen spectrum using plane transmission grating and the Rydherg's constant
12. Determination of specific rotation of sugar

Assessment is continuous by practical work and a final examination.
